Marketing Manager Jobs Vacancy in Abu Dhabi Ports Jobs Details:

Accountable To

· Manage, implement and drive on integrated marketing strategies, plans and promotional efforts for Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses (KIZAD, Maqta Gateway, Cruise Terminal, Safeen, Logistics) driven by market and consumer research
· implement and execute all the products and services marketing strategies and activities to generate sales leads and meet business targets
· Manage the delivery of the marketing coordinator to meet/accomplish agreed business objectives and synchronise across other Abu Dhabi Ports or its businesses activities

· Accountable for, and reports to, the Sr. Marketing Manager and VP Marketing all marketing KPIs and business ROIs generated from conducted marketing campaigns and activities

Responsible for

  • Core Responsibilities

· Drive and represent the marketing workstream that services Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses to all internal stakeholders
· Manage and execute all marketing activities of Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses and translate their strategies into integrated annual plans, campaigns and tactical deliverables intended to achieve agreed KPIs
· Enforce the development and delivery of annual plans, campaigns and activities in collaboration with the Marketing Intelligence & Research Team, assigned Marketing Communications Managers for Abu Dhabi Ports and businesses and working closely with the wider CMC team (Marketing, Branding and Communications functions) to:
o Build reputation and position Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses
o Generate business sales leads and drive customer acquisitions

o Increase brand awareness in set market/s

People Management Responsibilities:

· Manage and steer the direct reports (marketing coordinator) towards achieving set objectives, ensuring personal growth and learning development needs are met

· Monitor direct reports and holds team members accountable for ensuring marketing deliverables are best-in-class, aligned to the agreed objectives, budgets and timeframes

· Define and assess annual and quarterly KPIs for the direct reports

Counsel and guide the direct reports, carry out annual performance appraisals and address capability and disciplinary issues when required

Working Relationship

Key Internal Contacts: Corporate Marketing and Communications Department

· Understand and support the strategic objectives

· Align marketing with the communications objectives of the business, advise on, influence best-in-class practices and deliver as per SLAs

  • Manage the Marketing Coordinators for Abu Dhabi Ports businesses to meet agreed objectives

Key External Contacts:

· Stakeholders- Manage company and business brand position and reputation among its stakeholders

· Government Departments and Entities - Align with nationwide strategic initiatives

· Customers - Work with external suppliers on the delivery of marketing activities: branding & design, media buying, market research, events management and production agencies, etc.

· External providers

Objectives and Role Profile

  • Organise integrated marketing activities: advertising, direct marketing, PR, social media, digital marketing, events and experiential marketing activations, etc.
· Implement (while working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and team) marketing campaigns and project plans that span across all forms of marketing: digital, online (website), social media, event and experiential, branded content and collateral
· Collaborate with the wider CMC team to produce fully integrated campaigns and promotional efforts to continuously market Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses
· Coordinate and align with the Operations & Planning function, internal CMC team and external teams, establishing clear milestones, deliverables and responsibilities, tracking and overseeing budgets, managing and problem-solving issues or risks

· Oversee the assigned marketing coordinator for the businesses ensuring effective leading of meetings, clear communication of business objectives and assigned responsibilities, tracking and measuring against deadlines

Technical Competencies:

· Knowledge of developing integrated marketing strategies that span across multiple businesses and defined for local, regional and international markets
· Track record of managing development of integrated marketing (B2C and B2B) campaigns including offline, digital, social and experiential marketing (i.e. TV, Radio, newspaper print, digital and social advertisements, trade press news, events and exhibitions and so on)
· Experience in using market and consumer research tools to develop strategy and evaluate activities
· Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, presentation and reporting skills
· Strong ability in preparing and analysing technical or administrative reports, statements and correspondences

· Project management ability and skills

Key Tasks and Performance Indicators

Strategic Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to develop annual marketing strategies for existing/new products or services
· Assist in the review and evaluation of Abu Dhabi Ports businesses product or service offerings against periodic market and consumer research
· Work with the internal CMC research and data specialists, or the organisation’s research department, an understanding of target markets, audiences, competitors, the value propositions and differentiators for each of the businesses
· Monitor and assess key trends from market and consumer research considering key trends (key consumer drivers/attitudes and competitors’ activities) that may impact Abu Dhabi Ports or its businesses and recommend innovative marketing approaches

· Track and report KPIs and business ROIs on all marketing projects, campaigns, events for Abu Dhabi Ports and its businesses and recommend changes as required

  • Drive and manage the annual marketing plan and budget

Professional Competencies:

· Experienced team leader that can recruit, manage, direct and motivate team members

  • Ability to multi-task and manage several portfolios simultaneously
  • Maritime experience is a plus


· A Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration ora related field is required with an emphasis in Marketing

· Proficient in the use of MS Office programmes

  • Proficient in analysis of data and research for marketing

  • Fluency in English and Arabic a must

  • 8+ years With experience at Management level or equivalent that includes a track record of success in marketing high value products or services to major clients, including multi-national corporations
