Senior Account Manager/ Communication Supervisor- Social experience
An exciting position has opened for an Senior Account Manager to act as account team lead. You will manage the overall day-to-day account operations, account team and relationship with agency counterparts.
In particular, this role will have a big emphasis on digital platforms and plan content and will be comfortable using social media reporting tools when working alongside the Data Analyst.
You will contribute to the strategic blueprint on the client’s business in collaboration with the data and strategy team. You will be a strong presenter, reporting to our client the monthly key learnings.
You will have access to the strategic and creative network of the business and will be the lynch pin pulling the right people together to produce great content across all channels. You will work hand in hand with our in-house design team to create best in class content as well as actively sourcing new opportunities.
Build strong and enduring consultative relationships with members of the client account(s) marketing teams as the account team lead role
Plan and create high quality content across all client’s social channels to inform, engage and delight
Works with direct report(s) to develop overall strategic direction for campaigns. Providing strategic direction and oversight to project team, supervise development, and assure creative implementation is consistent with approved strategies
Work with team and internal stakeholders to ensure content marketing solutions and service delivery achieves the highest levels of client satisfaction at all times
Ensure all projects across the account team are delivered on brief, on time and on budget
Develop creative briefs and oversees all creative output
Collaborate with agencies on development of media strategies
Provide weekly status reporting within account team and, externally, for the client
Present monthly reporting and learnings to our clients’
Coach and support the account team to deliver best in class client service and process.
Pre-empt and/or troubleshoot and resolve any concerns or areas of client dissatisfaction
Manage and monitor client production and related budgets
Proactively researches client’s business and presents summaries of key topics or opportunities for the account team, agency management and client counterparts
The candidate must have:
A Bachelor's degree in marketing or other closely related field as a minimum
6-8 years of on the job experience
Proven people management experience
Experience with content planning and scheduling with multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional communication skills that foster a strong relationship with team members and the client
Expert time manager and ability to prioritize workload
Persuasive presentation and problem-solving skills
Willing to understand the client's initiatives and partners with them in order to identify their business
Ability to negotiate with team members and clients to accomplish tasks and drive projects forward
Takes initiative to spot new business opportunities for the client
Able to lead a team effectively
Able to demonstrate influencing skills and abilities
Arabic language is a plus
