Planner Jobs Vacancy in National Oilwell Varco Dubai Jobs Details:
Review Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)parameters daily and make proper adjustments based on usage, demand during lead time, and forecasts well as maintain work order dates that adhere to the promised delivery date.
Strategically developed a streamlined distribution system to improve customer service and save transportation costs and allowing quicker replenishment turnaround to minimize the write off.
Develop priorities and communicate support functions while taking an active role in problem resolution as required.
Coordinate with work shop departments to ensure proper inventory levels maintained - Knowledge of plant operations and equipment to plan properly.
Periodically review non-conformance and engineering changes to rework any work orders as required.
Regularly update work order due dates based on fluctuations in in-house capacity and the delivery schedules from vendors.
Regularly monitor and update safety stock levels in the system when necessary.
Maintains inventory accuracy.
Maintains inventory turns of 3 times a year by reducing obsolesce.
Works with production to meet all deadlines.
Expedites Materials to meet all deadlines by providing MOT to the shipper.
Monitors shipping department to make sure packaging and product is to our quality standard and will meet deadline.
Analyze incoming material cost from 3rd party vendor.
keep an accurate inventory, and a safe, clean, organized warehouse.
Enter time and materials used on jobs to maintain accurate inventory and cost .
Hold meetings with Vendors to ensure product will arrive on time and to strict quality standards.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Fluent with MRP and ERP software and Implementation.
Work daily in an ISO 9001 environment.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft excel.
Qualifications/ Requirements :
Degree and above with at least 2-year experience in planning, Inventory and logistics environment.
Good communications skills in both written and conversational English.
Excellent Knowledge in computer skills (JDE Knowledge Preferred).
