Business Development Manager Global Acquiring Platform Middle East Turkey Region Jobs Vacancy in Travelex Internet City Jobs Details:

Role purpose

This role will develop new partners and help enhance existing partner relationships with the integration of our Global Acquiring Platforms services. The role holder will develop and maintain relationships at a strategic level and identify business development opportunities. They will act as the contract owner and key point of contact for commercial conversations with new partners and work with current business development managers in region to nurture and grow the account.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized target list of customers in conjunction with the Head of Sales and the Commercial team
  • Agree KAM strategy (including contact strategy) by account
  • Identify and implement incremental revenue initiatives and EBITDA opportunities in both existing and new accounts
  • Own & develop the market plans by customer with support from the Head of Global Acquiring Platform Sales and GEO Commercial Director and team based in region
  • Develop key relationships with new Bank / Switch / Retail and ECO and Mobile partners
  • Develop and deliver sales plan for region
  • Work closely with local compliance officers and local business team to ensure we are fully aligned with goals and objectives
  • Manage the new contract and commercials of partner relationships at a senior level for the region
  • Help manage renewals and negotiations on existing contracts integrating the new acquiring platform capabilities where possible
  • Tender management and procurement management with local suppliers
  • Profitably expand into new relationships with Banks / Switches / ECOM and Mobile players utilizing the full Global Acquiring Platforms products and services
  • Develop key relationships with the big banks / acquirers major retailers and new POS and ECOM players in the market using local teams contacts and knowledge
  • Share knowledge and help develop new business ideas and proposals for the local GEO and other GEOs with partners that have a global business reach
  • Develop tailored customer propositions in line with the business strategy and product frameworks
  • Market intelligence gathering
  • Become an industry expert in region for Global Acquiring Platform services
  • Manage pipeline and capex prioritization
  • CRM data management
  • Carry out lobbying, prospecting and industry representation

Role-specific experience and skills

  • Experience in either banking / merchant acquiring sector
  • A demonstrable track record of delivery in the areas of key responsibility
  • Building relationships and influencing stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Senior relationship management and account development skills
  • Passionate sales person
  • Results/target oriented
  • Card processing and card switching experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Cultural understanding and experience of retail industry sales

  • Proven ability to lead their area of expertise, focusing on results, proactively solving problems and supporting the business with solutions
