Resource Planning Officer Jobs Vacancy in Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Jobs Details:
Plan medium and long term manpower needs to optimize staff assignment while ensuring assigned staff is compliant with legal and business requirements.
Policies and Procedures: Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day-to-day Operations: Implement the day-to-day standard operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Refer to supervisor for complex tasks which may require exceptions to procedures.
Safety, Quality and Environment: Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Create, develop and maintain a detailed short, medium and long term manpower plan in alignment with flight scheduling and operations’ needs, to ensure optimization of manpower capabilities and compliance with requirements
Perform simulations and “what if” scenario analysis to optimize manpower cost while ensuring the best allocation of available resources
Identify and analyze manpower data, trends and business drivers (e.g. seasonal schedules, financial requirements, etc) to identify medium and long term resourcing plans
Periodically review and update medium/long term planning to ensure staff compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Collaborate with Finance department in defining and validating manpower budget to ensure compliance with finance guidelines and company’s targets
Track and define KPIs to create report to management on manpower resourcing and budgeting
Plan and publish manpower rosters to provide timely communications to internal stakeholders
Collaborate with Performance Managers by timely communicating disciplinary/ training/ medical issues to ensure timely adoption of corrective and disciplinary actions
Highlight to management risks and potential issues to ensure timely adoption of corrective actions and minimize impacts on operations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year experience in relevant field if with Degree, or minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant field if no Degree
