Qhse Manager Jobs Vacancy in Company Dubai Jobs Details:

To develop, manage, and administer all activities that facilitate implementation of effective QHSE programs that assure compliance with regulatory requirements & help eliminate or reduce the occurrence of unwanted, undesired events.
Logistic and Transport exposure is mandatory and Construction and manufacturing industry exposure is plus

Skills

1. Develop a QHSE system, and an associated manual ensuring built-in compliance with ISO 9001,14001, and 18001 international standards.
2. Drive and maintain the company’s global QHSE reputation.
3. Responsible for the development, review & communication of QHSE Policy across the organization.
4. Address hazards, which may result in an injury, illness, or an emergency and initiate a permanent solution to the unsafe condition in coordination with the responsible people.
5. Advise Employees on the hazards associated with the work task and safety precautions to be taken.
6. Ensure Quality and HSE reporting systems and databases are leveraged by the site as continuous improvement and performance measurement tools. Ensure continuous accuracy of the data.
7. Ensure arrangements are in place for QHSE audits/reviews and inspections of the workplace, maintenance workshop and equipment in order to monitor compliance with the Company QHSE Management System and local legal requirements and ensure that appropriate corrective or preventive actions are taken, including follow up reviews.
8. Ensure all occupational injuries/illnesses, dangerous occurrences, incidents and customer claims are fully investigated and reported with findings and recommendations for preventive action and corrective action where appropriate.
9. Identify and prepare QHSE resources for customer and client specific project requirements.
10. Advise senior management in all aspects of HSE risk management; and develop solutions accordingly, includes prompt reporting of accidents, injuries and near miss events.
11. Execute QHSE auditing /certifications and assurance program.
12. Promote good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities.
13. Ensure that local Policy statements / Fire Plans and fire risk assessment are produced and quality assured.
14. Review and develop health and safety policies, procedures and guidance, in keeping with best practices and make recommendations on their implementation and application.
15. Provide independent professional advice and technical information where appropriate to senior managers and all line managers, keeping staff and managers abreast of changes in QHSE Legislation and Code of Practice.
16. Provide, or where necessary source, training for staff in relation to Health and Safety Policies, practice and procedures.
17. Propose, implement and monitor measures necessary to comply with QHSE legislation and Codes of practice.
18. Carry out or arrange workplace safety audits/inspections and ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
19. Maintain accident statistics, analyze trends and propose and take remedial actions where necessary.
20. Investigate all accidents and prepare report of findings, including recommendations to prevent recurrence and implement approved course of action. Where necessary, prepare reports to the authority.
21. Maintain a register of First Aiders and ensure the adequate provision of first aid and welfare facilities. Ensure all first aiders are appropriately trained.
22. Liaise as necessary with other organizations and relevant authorities, and provide assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
23. Ensure that contractors, suppliers, consultants and other irregular visitors to the company comply with relevant legislation and company safety policies.
24. Undertake site safety inspections.
25. Be the catalyst for activity and commitment to environmental management.
26. Ensure at minimum, legal compliance and reduce risk of noncompliance.
27. Identify opportunities for continuous environmental improvement and implement programs to deliver.
28. Promote and coordinate the integration of environmental management and sustainability issues into policies, rules, products, services and operations.
