Job Summary Conduct quality assurance compliance audits of products and processes. Monitor and manage projects that directly impact ACTVET success while capturing metrics, statistics or data from stakeholders or work outcomes. Principle Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist in the design of quality assurance processes, procedural audits and assessment in line with ACTVET overall strategy.
Analyze tasks, workflows and management activities, and prepares policies and procedure manuals for all organizational functions.
Implement ISO 9000:2008 quality management system.
Ensure that all products meet customer specifications.
Determine the root cause of defects to prevent recurrence of the issues and quality problems.
Uses data collected from inspections and testing procedures to determine the cause of quality issues
Participate in employee quality improvement teams to reduce defects and make recommendations to improve the processes based on findings from analysis.
Document results of new procedures after implementation to show quality improvements.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
Ensure that procedures are understood, implemented and evaluated periodically for continual improvement.
Competency Required: 1.Evidence of experience in implementing quality management systems such as ISO 9000. 2.Experience in the design and implementation of educational plans and monitoring systems. 3.Experience with using statistical software programs for data analysis and research. 4.Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma deployment. 5.Demonstrated experience with educational QA processes and procedures. 6.Experience in the development and application of effectiveness performance indicators. 7.Familiarity with quality awards and excellence models. 8.Good knowledge of quality improvement software programs or any quality improvement support tool. 9.Sound knowledge of the issues associated with interrelationships with the labour market, the national economy, and general sectorial and community issues. 10.Demonstrated ability to work with others to develop creative solutions to complex problems. 11.Demonstrated personal drive and integrity, the ability to self-manage and the capacity to identify and effectively manage risks associated with change. 12.Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of ISO 9000:2008
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience managing Quality Management Systems. Education: Bachelor degree in Education, IT, or Industrial Engineering.
