Veterinary Nurse Jobs Vacancy in Dubai Pet Clinic Dubai Jobs Details:

Fully Qualified & Registered Vet Nurse required.

The position will include a mixture of standard nursing and administrative duties. The standard nursing activities will include daily assistance to the vet in his daily activities (operation theatre, anaesthesia, radiology, routine care of outpatients) and provision of daily care of the hospitalized animals (mainly avian, and occasionally wildlife, dogs, cats).
Administrative duties will include daily care and organization of annual servicing of all equipment items (surgical, aesthetic, other), organization (order, control, delivery, archiving) of nutritional and pharmaceutical products, supervision/organization of the daily nursing activities among the rest of the technician/nursing staff. The above-mentioned tasks will be fulfilled after the end of the daily clinical nursing duties.

The candidate would act as a bridge between vets and technicians therefore highly social, teamwork and interdisciplinary skills, as well as flexibility and professionalism, are highly requested. Self-motivation to improve yourself, learn, interact with a variety of staff members and to solve daily problems contribute to the values of the successful applicant.

Applicants must have:
Degree/Diploma from a veterinary nursing school or similar institution;

Valid license by UAE Ministry of Health/ DHA or HAAD is preferable but not obligatory on the date of application

Minimum 3 years’ experience as practicing veterinary nurse (dogs, cats, exotics, wildlife, avian) in a veterinary clinic or similar institution.

Experience in handling and nursing avian patients is preferred but not essential

Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English

Advanced organizational and interdisciplinary skills
Team spirit and high self-motivation

Computer literate with commonly used software programs

Please note that this position involves occasional evening and weekend call out.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED6,000.00 to AED8,000.00 /month
