J.P. It is also the entity which provides banking, trading, and brokerage and custody services to clients of the Global Wealth Management (GWM) in Asia. JPMIB is a UK bank and is regulated by the PRA and FCA; it operates out of its UK head office with branches in Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan.
The Non Resident Indian (NRI) team as been one of the fastest growing teams within the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan. The team provides private banking services to the wealthiest families and entrepreneurs in the Middle East. The NRI team has a presence in Singapore, Dubai and London. The team in Dubai has 8 professionals working in order to service the clients in the region.
This role will be reporting to the Market Manager of the NRI segment in Singapore.
Summary of the role: Client coverage across UAE and the region focusing on maintaining and growing current clients, identifying new clients, and working with other LoBs to increase the private’s banking business’ penetration in the corporate sector.
As an Executive Director MENA Investment Banking, you will have responsibility for client coverage in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) including but not limited to:
To provide full service banking to the UHNW Non Resident Indian client segment in the Gulf region.
To provide marketing and business development activities in this region.
To establish new relationships and manage existing ones in order to grow the assets under management.
Work closely with investment advisors, capital advisors and wealth planners covering this region for the bank
Key Skills/ Experience
6-10 years work experience in relationship role (PB/IB/AM), preferably in or with links into the Non Resident Indian market
Excellent network in the covered region
Fluency in English, Hindi would be an asset
Apply a very structured working approach and ability to prioritize efficiently
Build up trusted relationships with clients and experts, reliable and persistent
Bring together the appropriate product experts to develop tailored, long-term solutions for clients
Have the ability to promote products or investment ideas that are in line with Account Plan and clients’ Suitability
Good knowledge of financial markets
