Webservices Test Analyst Jobs Vacancy in Texel Sydney Jobs Details:
We are looking for an experienced Webservices tester to work for our team in Sydney.
Your role is to perform various tests on the payment processing platform. You will also be involved in:
- API Testing (REST, SOAP/XML) - Test automation - SoapUI/ jUnit / Mockito / WebDriver / TDD practices (should have experience in designing automation scripts and troubleshooting, not just execution) - Familiar with use of build tools (Maven), CI tools (Jenkins), source control (Git) - Experience in Functional, Integration and Regression testing . - Able to read and interpret business requirements, technical and system documentation. Understand the different system interfaces, dependencies and constraints when developing test cases. - Non-functional testing - testing the system for resilience, failover and performance. - Knowledge of stubbing, building emulators and simulators (e.g. mock services using Groovy) - Ability to apply a contextual approach to testing (including use of techniques such as Risk Based Testing, Exploratory Testing, etc.) - JIRA - Desirable to have experience with collaboration, productivity and defect logging tools. - Optimize existing test suites to reduce time spent on regression and enable continuous integration (CI) using tool like Jenkins. - Experience with interpreting system logs and using Splunk (desirable) - 2-3 years webservices testing experience with a hands on approach. - 2-3 years of experience in the payments domain preferably in mobile tokenization. - Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision. - Good analytical and communication skills - Ability to break complex systems into smaller requirements and test. - Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
